{"id":181,"date":"2022-11-21T21:48:04","date_gmt":"2022-11-21T19:48:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/workhistory.eu\/?page_id=181"},"modified":"2024-10-18T14:57:10","modified_gmt":"2024-10-18T12:57:10","slug":"alaban-peter","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/workhistory.eu\/en\/kutatok\/alaban-peter\/","title":{"rendered":"Alab\u00e1n, P\u00e9ter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-183 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/workhistory.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Alaban-Peter-204x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"204\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/workhistory.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Alaban-Peter-204x300.jpg 204w, https:\/\/workhistory.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Alaban-Peter-8x12.jpg 8w, https:\/\/workhistory.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Alaban-Peter-380x560.jpg 380w, https:\/\/workhistory.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Alaban-Peter.jpg 465w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 204px) 100vw, 204px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" class=\" translation-block\"><b>Alab\u00e1n, P\u00e9ter<\/b> (postdoc researcher) will work on the organization of labor in the rural areas\nunder socialism and will focus on the rural second economy in villages surrounding one of the\nlargest industrial plants of socialist Hungary, the \u00d3zd Furnace Works, such as Domah\u00e1za (a\nsettlement rich in ethnographic traditions but also known from the film sociographies of the\nGuly\u00e1s brothers), Kissik\u00e1tor, a neighboring settlement which avoided ghettoization, the former\nmining settlement of Farkaslyuk, and the former record factory settlement of Borsodn\u00e1dasd.\nAlab\u00e1n will also study the work patterns, consumption patterns, opportunities for political\nparticipation, and moralities regarding the abovementioned topics in these settlements in the\ncontext of privatized gardening (h\u00e1zt\u00e1ji) and services (fusi).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He will do research on the\ncrossovers and entanglements of industrial and agricultural labor and will explore how these\nconnections shaped social relationships in the region.
