Főcze, János will explore prevalent forms of work in the Hungarian-speaking regions of Romania as a pilot study. He will focus on how the connections between regional urban centers and neighboring rural areas shaped the organization of work. Főcze will focus on the organization of work in Transylvania. He will explore the historical origins of the forms of work and study how earlier legacies of labor and lobbying continued to shape patterns of work in these regions. Főcze will also add research on the impacts of specific interethnic relationships on workplace relations.
